The Third Annual CREATE Conference at Eastern Connecticut State University took place on April 21. CREATE stands for "Celebrating Research Excellence and Artistic Talent at Eastern," and is the University's premier conference showcasing student research and creative activity.

"Eastern Exposure" is Eastern's campus literary magazine and is published annually. The Eastern Writers Guild works hard all year to produce the magazine, which is composed solely of student work.

A cohort of high-achieving psychology students from Eastern Connecticut State University was inducted into Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, on April 24. Psi Chi's mission is to encourage excellence in scholarship and to foster the advancement of psychological science.

Fifteen high-achieving psychology students from Eastern Connecticut State University were awarded Departmental Honors on April 24 at the Psychology Honors Night and Psi Chi Induction Ceremony. The internship is usually related to the student's major or is directly related to the student's career interest. They often complement the student's coursework, can incorporate skills and classroom experience into the workplace and assist the student in developing new abilities and skills.
